Falling home prices in Monterey Heights in the second half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Monterey Heights fell by $46,200 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $100,000 - a 31.6% decrease over the $146,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Monterey Heights in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Monterey Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $4,210, approximately 4.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
