How did home prices perform in Canton during the second half of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Canton rose by $6,169 while total sales increased by 17.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 1,484 homes sold, with a median sale price of $109,250 - a 6% increase over the $103,081 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,259 homes sold in Canton in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Canton for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,388, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
