The second half of 2021: Home prices in Plain increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Plain rose by $41,950 while total sales decreased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $115,950 - a 56.7% increase over the $74,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Plain in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Plain for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,601, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
