The second half of 2021: East Canton experienced a 3.7% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in East Canton fell by $4,700 while total sales increased by 15.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 44 homes sold, with a median sale price of $122,300 - a 3.7% decrease over the $127,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 38 homes sold in East Canton in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in East Canton for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,026, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
