Oak Ridge median home prices fell by 11.3% in the second half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Oak Ridge fell by $20,250 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 12 homes sold, with a median sale price of $159,750 - a 11.3% decrease over the $180,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Oak Ridge in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Oak Ridge for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,966, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
