The second half of 2021: Home prices in Louisville increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Louisville rose by $25,200 while total sales increased by 7.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 182 homes sold, with a median sale price of $169,700 - a 17.4% increase over the $144,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 170 homes sold in Louisville in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Louisville for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,756, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
