The second half of 2021: Home prices in Franklin increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Franklin rose by $4,500 while total sales increased by 15.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 265 homes sold, with a median sale price of $162,000 - a 2.9% increase over the $157,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 230 homes sold in Franklin in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Franklin for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $1,890, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
