The second half of 2021: Home prices in Madison Township increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Madison Township rose by $10,500 while total sales decreased by 11.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 68 homes sold, with a median sale price of $201,000 - a 5.5% increase over the $190,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 77 homes sold in Madison Township in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Madison Township for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,017, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
