West Chester median home prices rose by 14.9% in the second half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in West Chester rose by $39,550 while total sales increased by 7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 548 homes sold, with a median sale price of $305,000 - a 14.9% increase over the $265,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 512 homes sold in West Chester in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in West Chester for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,682, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
