The second half of 2021: Home prices in Avon increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Avon rose by $2,500 while total sales decreased by 1.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 202 homes sold, with a median sale price of $335,000 - a 0.8% increase over the $332,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 206 homes sold in Avon in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Avon for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $4,799, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
