Mariemont Students' Artwork on Display in China

Mariemont City Schools students recently had artwork on display in Liuzhou, China, as part of the 11th annual China-Asia Automotive Industry Expo. Liuzhou is a sister City to Cincinnati.

The artwork was displayed in a gallery titled “The Car in my Mind” which ran from December 25 to January 3 at the city museum exhibition. About 100 works by children and youth artists from Cincinnati (Mariemont City Schools), Georgia (USA), Muntinlupa, Philippines and Japan were on display in the exhibit.

The artwork was part of Liuzhou’s “International Children’s Painting Exhibition” which has performed as a window for mutual cultural exchanges.

This is the second time the district’s students have been on display in Liuzhou and is similar to the USA/Ukraine sister-city art show that runs each fall.
