The fourth quarter of 2021: Home prices in Avon fell

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Avon fell by $65,000 while total sales decreased by 6.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were 89 homes sold, with a median sale price of $285,000 - a 18.6% decrease over the $350,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 95 homes sold in Avon in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Avon for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $4,799, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
