2022 Festival & Arts Commission Youth Arts Fair

The Youth Art Fair is sponsored by the Englewood Festival and Arts Commission and is held every year to promote the artistic skills and talents of our community youth.  All students, Pre-K through 12, living in the Northmont School District are invited to participate.  Students may submit only one work per category.  All work must be original, no kits or tracings.  Original works created as school projects or self-concepts will be accepted.  All work must be mounted on poster board and have the “Name Tag” below attached.  Unmounted work WILL NOT be accepted.

IMPORTANT DATES:  Saturday, February 26th - All entries must be delivered to the Government Center Lobby between the hours of 10 am – 12 pm.

Saturday, March 5th – Winners announced and awards presented at the Government Center beginning at 11 am.  Artwork can remain on display until Friday, March 11th.  The Festival & Arts Commission WILL NOT be responsible for any artwork left after March 11, 2022

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Complete the application (CATEGORY MUST BE LISTED) and both name tags.
  2. Attach one name tag to the front and one to the back of your artwork.
  3. Bring the completed application with you when you enter your art work.

CATEGORY LIST:

Paint - watercolor, tempera, poster, acrylic, etc.

Drawing - pencil, charcoal, colored chalk, pastels, oil pastels, colored pencils, markers, etc.

Collage – cut & glued papers, such as construction paper, tissue paper, wrapping paper, aluminum foil, etc.

Prints – handmade stencils, gadget printing, collagraphs, block prints, etc.

Sculpting – clay, papier-mâché, etc.

Digital – computer generated original
