Wood County Hospital issued the following announcement on Jan. 31

On January 10, 2022, Dr. Carlos Gomez, orthopedic surgeon, performed the very first Velys™ Robotic Knee Replacement in Northwest Ohio. A total knee replacement is a procedure to fix damaged parts of a knee with implants.
