Shaker Heights Students Excel in Two Exams

Congratulations to the following Shaker Heights students who earned medals on the National Classical Etymology Exam, which tests a student's ability to handle both Latin and 

Greek derivatives and their usage in the English language.

Gold Medals: Shoshanah Calland (11th), Juliette Rolf (7th)

Silver Medals: Nora Chevraux (10th), Isabel Siegel (8th)

Bronze Medals:  Emily Boron (11th), Emily Liu (8th)

Congratulations to the following students who earned medals on the National Roman Civilization Exam, which tests knowledge of the history and culture of the ancient Romans 

from 753 BC to the end of the reign of Constantine the Great.

Gold Medal: Emily Boron (11th)

Silver Medal: Nora Chevraux (10th)

Bronze Medals: Nikolai Ewing (11th), Meredith Hurley (9th)

Well done students, and thank you to their Latin and Greek teachers, Mrs. Murphy and Mr. Fletcher.
