Sidney Middle School would like to invite families to Parent/Teacher Conferences on February 17-18th. Below is the format for SMS conferences:
Thursday, February 17th — 3:30-7:30
Students with the last name A-M — 3:30-5:30
Students with the last name N-Z — 5:30-7:30
Friday, February 18th — 7:30-11:30
Students with the last name A-M — 7:30-9:30
Students with the last name N-Z — 9:30-11:30
During these times, you are free to meet with one or multiple teachers. These conferences are meant to communicate progress or concerns the teacher or parent may have about the child’s academic performance. If you feel you will need more than 10-12 minutes to discuss your concerns with one of your children’s teachers, please contact that teacher directly to set up a separate appointment at your convenience.

If you cannot make it during the scheduled times, we understand. Please come when it is most convenient for you at any time during conferences. The purpose of breaking up the alphabet is to minimize wait time for everyone. However, if lines become too long, we ask that you fill out the information sheet outside of your teacher's classroom and they will reach back out to you as soon as possible.
If you are not comfortable having your conference at the school and would like to have a virtual or phone conference with your child’s teachers, please contact the teacher to schedule an appointment.
