Emergency Severe Weather Shelter Opening Sunday

City of Ashland recently issued the following announcement.

The City Manager has authorized the opening of an emergency severe weather shelter.  The shelter will be opening on Sunday February 20th due to severe weather conditions forecasted and will run through Wednesday, February 23rd.  The shelter will open its doors at 5:00 PM.  The doors will close for the night at 9:00 PM with lights out at 10:00 PM, the shelter will close for the day at 9:00 AM.  The shelter will be located at Pioneer Hall, 73 Winburn Way, Ashland.  This will be a no frills shelter, please plan on providing your own bedding.  The shelter will be observing Covid safety protocols as set by the CDC.  Social distancing will be observed and masks will be required and are available on site. Kids and pets welcome.
