City of Aurora issued the following announcement on Feb. 12
Mayor Ann Womer Benjamin swore in the members of the 2022 Master Plan Review Commission at its first meeting on February 10, 2022. The nine members – Daisy Alford-Smith, Dale Moravec, Margaret Emrick, Julie Lazor, Deborah Scharler, Brian Miller, Cheryl Dierckman, Mike Keckan, and Chris Strecker – will meet through the next six or seven months to review and consider updates to the city's current Master Plan. The city’s Charter requires a review of the Master Plan every five years. A consultant will assist the Commission along with the city’s Planning, Zoning and Building Department. The group elected Mike Keckan as its Chairman, and Dale Moravec as its Vice Chairman. Commission meetings are open to the public and are held at City Hall.
