Snyder Honored as Outstanding Educator

Huntington High School educator Eric Snyder was recognized by the Chillicothe-Ross Community Foundation for his outstanding work with students in the Huntington Community. 

The Foundation presented a $250 grant to the school in Mr. Snyder's honor.

Mr. Snyder is a veteran educator with 26 years of teaching young adults in our community.  He began his career at Huntington with a long-term substitute position in 1995.  As a 

young educator, he taught at Pickaway-Ross Vocational School helping at-risk students graduate and find employment.  In 1998 he accepted a position with Paint Valley HS as a 

Social Studies Teacher.  His career came full circle a few years ago when he brought his exceptional teaching  to Huntington.  Mr. Snyder consistently and successfully prepares 

students for their academic and life challenges.

The Community Foundation is a public charity providing donors an avenue with which they may enhance the quality of life for Ross County residents.  The community's gifts enable 

the Foundation to support important programs all for the betterment of the community in which we live.
