Noticeis hereby given that the City of Ashtabula shall hold an informational PublicHearing on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at4:00 pm at the Ashtabula City Council Chambers, 4717 Main Avenue in Ashtabula,Ohio.
Thepurpose of the meeting is to inform citizens of the Ohio Community DevelopmentBlock Grant Program for fiscal year 2022. City Planning & Community Development Staff will explain the overallCDBG Program along with the State Administrative plan.
The CDBG Program is designed to assist primarily lowand moderate-income persons, elderly or special needs persons, persons livingin designated Investment Areas and additionally provides the opportunity toundertake activities that aid in the prevention and elimination of conditionsof slum and blight.
Interestedcitizens are encouraged to attend the hearing and provide their interest forthe Program. Citizen input shall play animportant role in determining how program elements of the overall CDBG Programare established and implemented within the City.
