Officials from the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission and Milford Schools will interview three firms on Monday, March 21 to select the architect for the new 6-8 middle school project.
The three firms are Emerson Design, SHP and VSWC. These firms advanced from a larger pool of candidates after an initial screening by the OFCC. Two OFCC representatives and two Milford School representatives will conduct the interviews and will use an OFCC scoring rubric to determine the firm to be selected. The winner will be on the April Board of Education agenda for approval.
The same process will be followed to select a general contractor for the project later in April. The three firms selected for interviews are HGC Construction, Conger Construction Group and Turner Construction.
