Goldwood’s Nichole Fach Named Ohio Lottery Teacher of the Month

Goldwood Primary School (GPS) Intervention Specialist Nichole Fach had been named the recipient of the Ohio Lottery Partners in Education Teacher of the Month award in 

Region 1 for the month of March 2022.

The Ohio Lottery Partners in Education Teacher of the Month award recognizes outstanding K-12 teachers for their excellence in the classroom, leadership, creativity and 

community involvement and dedication on behalf of Ohio students.

Fach was nominated for the award by GPS principal Carol Rosiak, who noted:

  • Nichole teaches in a small class learning center with intense needs.
  • She has established a positive rapport with students, while demonstrating respect for and interest in individual experiences, thoughts and opinions.
  • Her routines are well-established and orderly and she promotes a sense of calm within the classroom.
  • Nichole’s attention to a multi-sensory approach to teaching is notable and focuses on the individual needs of each student.
  • She ensures that all students are treated fairly with optimal opportunities to learn, has strong leadership skills and ensures the culture is positive in the classroom.
  • She engages in self-reflection to best meet her students’ needs and ensures strong communication contributes to her classroom community.
 Fach is the second teacher from RRCSD to receive the award this year, joining Therese Konrad from Rocky River Middle School who earned the award in September.
