Men's Cross Country Placed Third at the Wittenberg Invitational

The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team placed third at the Wittenberg Invitational on the Clark County Fairgrounds.

BW placed third of nine teams with a total of 83 points. Ohio Northern University took home the win with 42 points.

BW was led in the 8k event by:

  • Freshman Stephen Faltay (Wellington / Keystone) finished third out of 122 in a time of 26:28.7
  • Senior David Russo (DePew, N.Y.) placed sixth in a time of 26:45.2
  • Sophomore Carter Almady (Brunswick) placed 21th in a time 27:14.6
  • Freshman Sam Sikorski (Columbia Station) finished 27th with a time of 27:49.2
  • Sophomore Joe Kelly (Lakewood) placed 30th in a time of 27:53.6
The Yellow Jackets will return to the course on Friday, September 16th when they travel to Cedarville to compete in the All-Ohio Championships on the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.
