Minnesota Governor and vice presidential nominee Tim Walz has taken a stance on gun control that appears to shift depending on his audience. This approach mirrors that of his running mate, Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris.

Recently, Walz's comments on his military service have come under scrutiny. In a video posted by John Lott, Walz stated, "And we can make sure that those weapons of war that I carried in war is the only place where those weapons are at." However, it has been revealed that Walz did not serve in any war.

Walz's current position on gun control includes advocating for universal background checks and the elimination of "reciprocity carry among states." He aligns closely with Harris' strict gun control measures.

Second Amendment supporters are encouraged to consider Walz's statements when voting this fall. Despite allegations about his military service, his plans for gun control remain clear.
