Ohio business leaders gathered at Cardinal Health for a roundtable discussion on mental health, coinciding with Mental Health Awareness Month. The event was attended by Governor DeWine, Directors Lori Criss and Judi French from the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and Department of Insurance respectively.

Cardinal Health CEO Jason Hollar hosted the meeting alongside Tim Robinson, CEO of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and Bob Schottenstein, Chairman, CEO, and President of M/I Homes. Participants shared personal stories about how mental health issues have affected their families, friends, and colleagues. They emphasized the importance of supporting Ohioans facing mental health challenges.

The conversation also highlighted the role employers play in providing benefits that support employees' mental well-being. "Our member, Jason Hollar," noted an OP-ED written for the Columbus Dispatch regarding this issue.

The Ohio Business Roundtable expressed gratitude to its members who participated in the discussion and plans to continue this dialogue with a broader membership base to explore opportunities in mental health treatment.
