Jim Jordan, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio's 4th district since 2007, recently shared his thoughts on various national issues through social media posts. Jordan, who has been an active political figure since serving in the Ohio House of Representatives from 1995 to 2000 and the Ohio Senate from 2001 to 2006, continues to engage with the public on matters concerning national security, disaster response, and government efficiency.

On November 25, 2024, Jim Jordan expressed concern over the activities of the Tren de Aragua gang. He stated that according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), "Tren de Aragua is operating in 16 states according to DHS. And now their gang is expanding to our nation's capital." He further emphasized his anticipation for January 20th.

Later that day, he acknowledged the efforts of military personnel in disaster response. Jordan highlighted that "Members of the 200th RED HORSE Squadron based in Mansfield, OH recently traveled to Florida and joined forces with local responders to help with the cleanup efforts of both hurricanes." He praised these individuals as "Great Americans."

On November 26, 2024, Jim Jordan commented on a new governmental initiative aimed at improving transparency and accountability. He questioned opposition from certain political quarters by stating: "The Department of Government Efficiency will bring transparency and accountability to the American people. Why are Democrats so afraid?"
