On December 7, 2024, Rep. Jim Jordan paid tribute to American heroes who perished in the attack on Pearl Harbor. He specifically mentioned Ohio native Stanley Casmier Galaszewski and emphasized the importance of remembering their sacrifice: "Today, we honor and remember brave American heroes like Ohio native Stanley Casmier Galaszewski, who lost their lives in the attack on Pearl Harbor 83 years ago.
