The Ohio Business Roundtable (OBRT) recently held its Annual Meeting, themed "Fueling the Future," bringing together 64 CEOs to discuss economic development in Ohio. The event served as a platform for networking and sharing insights on innovation and growth.
A CEO energy panel featured industry leaders such as John Warner of McKinsey, Jim Burke of Vistra Corp, Ben Fowke of AEP, and Claudio Ingaramo of Cenovus Energy. They discussed challenges related to energy resource adequacy with the audience.
Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted attended the meeting. Governor DeWine received the George Voinovich Partnership for a Prosperous Ohio Award for his leadership in economic growth.
The legislative reception facilitated interactions between OBRT members and policymakers. A fireside chat with Chris Gorman, Chairman and CEO of KeyCorp, and Larry Culp, Chairman and CEO of GE Aerospace, focused on leadership and business challenges.
The next Annual Meeting is scheduled for October 28-29 next year.
