Thomas Massie's tweets reflect on governance and gun rights legislation

Thomas Massie, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Kentucky’s 4th district, recently shared a series of tweets on various topics. Massie, who has been in office since 2012 after replacing Geoff Davis, is known for his active engagement with constituents and commentary on legislative matters.

On December 11, 2024, Thomas Massie tweeted about his new office location in Washington D.C., stating: "Coming to you this morning from my new office in DC!".

Later that day, at 14:42 UTC, Massie made an analogy involving cryptocurrency and American governance by tweeting: ".@DOGE is like the U.S. Constitution. It’ll be great… if you can get my fellow lawmakers to follow it."

In the evening at 20:54 UTC, he expressed gratitude towards Representative Tony Wied for supporting legislation aimed at protecting gun rights. He stated: "Thank you to @RepTonyWied for cosponsoring HR 9534, the National Constitutional Carry Act. No one should have to beg the government to exercise a constitutionally protected right anywhere in the country."
