Thomas Massie, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Kentucky's 4th district, has recently made several statements on social media addressing significant political issues. Known for his outspoken views, Massie's recent tweets cover topics ranging from COVID-19 vaccine mandates to presidential pardons.

On January 21, 2025, Massie announced his legislative efforts to end the COVID-19 vaccine mandate for legal immigrants seeking citizenship or permanent status. He criticized President Biden for implementing this mandate without congressional approval and suggested that former President Trump could have rescinded it during his tenure. "I have a bill to end the COVID vax mandate for legal immigrants seeking citizenship or permanent status. But the reality is this: President Biden invented this cruel and unscientific mandate without congressional approval, so President Trump could end it today with his pen."

In another tweet dated January 22, 2025, Massie expressed gratitude towards former President Trump for granting a full pardon to Ross Ulbricht. He acknowledged Trump's commitment to freeing Ulbricht and thanked him publicly via social media. "Ross Ulbricht has been freed by President Trump with a full pardon! Thank you for keeping your word to me and others who have been advocating for Ross’ freedom, Mr. President! #freeRoss"

Further elaborating on the subject of Ross Ulbricht's pardon in another post on January 22, 2025, Massie recounted a conversation he had with Trump when endorsing him for president. During their discussion, Trump assured Massie of his intention to free Ulbricht and even encouraged him to include this promise in his endorsement statement. Massie also extended thanks to Angela McArdle of the Libertarian Party for her role in promoting this cause. "When I endorsed Trump for President, he and I had a conversation in which he assured me he would free Ross Ulbricht. He even suggested I could include it in my endorsement statement, which I did.
