Rep. Jim Jordan, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio's 4th district since 2007, shared his views on the FBI and praised Kash Patel through a series of tweets posted on January 30, 2025.
In a tweet at 14:38 UTC, Jordan stated that "The FBI must work for Americans—for 'we the people.' The FBI needs major reforms, and it needs them now. Kash Patel is the right man at the right time for this important job."
Later that day, at 15:09 UTC, he further elaborated on Patel's qualifications by saying "Kash Patel has dedicated his career to public service. He is smart, he is tough, and he gets results. Kash began his legal career as a public defender, defending clients in both state and federal court. He moved on to the Justice Department..."
Continuing his praise for Patel's past work, Jordan tweeted at 15:25 UTC about Patel's role in exposing what he described as a "Russian collusion hoax." He noted that "Kash Patel was critical to exposing the Russian collusion hoax and bringing truth to the American people... Through Kash's work, we now know that the Clinton campaign hired a Democrat-connected law firm..."
