Thomas Massie, a U.S. Congressman representing Kentucky's 4th district since 2012, recently shared updates on several legislative initiatives through his social media platform. Massie's posts focus on key issues including constitutional rights, federal education oversight, and tax reforms for senior citizens.

On February 5, 2025, Thomas Massie expressed gratitude to Rep. Ronny Jackson for cosponsoring HR 645, known as the National Constitutional Carry Act. In his statement, Massie emphasized that "no one should have to beg the government to exercise a constitutionally protected right anywhere in the country."

The following day, February 6, 2025, Massie thanked Rep. Greg Steube for cosponsoring a bill aimed at eliminating the Federal Department of Education (HR 899). He argued against the control of children's intellectual and moral development by "unelected bureaucrats in Washington, D.C."

Later on February 6, Massie announced via social media that he had reintroduced the Senior Citizens Tax Elimination Act (H.R. 1040). This legislation is intended to support middle-class seniors by removing what he described as an "unjust double-tax" on Social Security benefits.
