The Ohio Attorney General’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) and the Fairfax Police Department are asking for public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a homicide case. The incident occurred at the home of Sheila “Denise” Tenpenny, a 64-year-old woman living alone, on February 2nd.

Authorities believe the crime took place between midnight and 6 a.m. on Sunday. Later that morning, Tenpenny was found deceased inside her residence located at 3919 Germania Street in Fairfax, Hamilton County.

The Fairfax Police Department sought BCI's help to investigate what has been determined as murder. Investigators describe the suspect as a male who likely sustained physical injuries during the crime. He may have cuts or bruises on his hands, wrists, forearms, or facial injuries.

Officials urge anyone with information about this case or surveillance footage near the crime scene to contact BCI at 855-BCI-OHIO (855-224-6446). Tips can also be submitted through the Attorney General’s website.

For media inquiries, contact Steve Irwin at 614-728-5417.
