Thomas Massie, a current U.S. Congressman representing Kentucky's 4th district, shared several opinions on recent political events through his social media posts. Massie, who has been serving in Congress since 2012 and holds a degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, expressed his views on various issues including appointments to Trump's cabinet, USAID funding controversies, and COVID stimulus checks.

On February 13, 2025, Thomas Massie commented on an anticipated appointment by Donald Trump to his cabinet. He stated that "RFKjr will almost certainly be the most consequential appointment Trump makes to his cabinet."

Later that day, Massie addressed concerns regarding USAID funding and its implications for domestic politics. He tweeted: "USAID funded an organization that fabricated evidence which was used to impeach President Trump. The Deep State frequently funds regime change efforts abroad, but when it uses taxpayer money to undermine our own government, isn't that treason?"

On February 14, 2025, Massie reflected on past warnings he had issued about financial policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. He remarked: "Before there was @DOGE , there was me in 2020 warning y’all that the U.S. Treasury was sending $1200 COVID stimulus checks to foreigners living overseas. These were not dual citizens or green-card holders."
