A man from Gallia County has pleaded guilty to multiple felony charges related to downloading nude photos from customers' phones while working at a cell phone repair business. Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced the guilty plea of Calvin Jordan, aged 27, who admitted to a 40-count indictment filed in June 2024.

Yost stated, "Violating your customers’ privacy isn’t just creepy – it’s illegal, especially when some of your clients are minors. Today’s guilty plea is the product of a thorough investigation and an airtight indictment."

The charges against Jordan include three counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, one count of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance, and 36 counts of unauthorized use of computer, cable or telecommunications property.

Jordan's sentencing is set for March 31. He faces potential prison time and will be required to register as a Tier II sex offender.

The crimes occurred while Jordan was employed at Direct Computing Solutions in Gallipolis. Investigations by the Gallipolis Police Department and Yost’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation revealed that he downloaded private photos from customers' phones without their consent between December 2021 and April 2022. More than 40 individuals were affected, including minors aged 14 to 17.

The case is being prosecuted by attorneys from Yost’s Special Prosecutions Section.
