Representative Jim Jordan, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Ohio's 4th district since 2007, recently took to social media to highlight what he views as fulfilled promises by former President Trump. A longtime political figure, Jordan previously served in both the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate before his current role.

On April 28, 2025, Jordan wrote about President Trump's efforts on border security. He asserted, "President Trump said he’d secure the border. He’s done just that. And he’s deporting violent criminal illegal aliens from your community. Promises made. Promises kept."

In another post on the same day, Jordan outlined a series of commitments made by Trump, stating, "President Trump said he’d deport gang members. He said he’d end catch and release. He said he’d target foreign drug cartels. He said he’d reinstate 'Remain in Mexico.' He’s done it all. Promises made. Promises kept."

Following up on April 29, 2025, Jordan addressed economic matters by posting "President Trump said he’d drive prices down and get inflation under control. In March, consumer prices fell and inflation cooled. Promises made. Promises kept."

Jim Jordan, 59, born in Troy, Ohio, continues to live in Urbana. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a Juris Doctor from Capital University.
