Rep. Jim Jordan, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio's 4th district since 2007, has recently shared his views on various issues through social media posts. Jordan, who succeeded Mike Oxley in Congress and has an extensive political career including time in the Ohio House of Representatives and Senate, expressed his opinions on topics ranging from FBI investigations to deportation policies.

On May 6, 2025, Rep. Jim Jordan commented on the handling of the 2017 Congressional baseball shooting investigation by the FBI under James Comey and Christopher Wray. He stated "The Comey/Wray FBI botched the 2017 Congressional baseball shooting investigation. We shouldn’t be surprised. Thankfully, Kash Patel is cleaning up the Bureau."

Later that day, at 19:18 UTC, Jordan questioned current immigration enforcement policies with a brief post asking "What’s the problem with deporting violent criminal gang members?"

In another tweet posted at 23:39 UTC on May 6, he addressed gain-of-function research and its implications during Anthony Fauci's tenure. He asserted "Fauci lied about gain-of-function. It cost us dearly. Thankfully, President Trump is ending gain-of-function research in the USA. Promises made. Promises kept."

Jim Jordan was born in Troy, Ohio in 1964 and currently resides in Urbana. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a Bachelor of Science degree and earned a Juris Doctor from Capital University.
