The Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) has issued a draft Permit to Operate (PTO) renewal for the facility known as "Hillside Acres" in Grover Hill, Ohio. The facility is located at 22051 Road 48, 3750 Road 187, and 4500 Road 187 in Paulding County's Washington Township, within the Auglaize Watershed.

The draft permit is open for public comment in accordance with OAC rule 901:10-6-01. If approved, the PTO will be valid for five years. Interested parties can obtain a copy of the draft permit by completing a public records request through the ODA's website.

Comments or requests for a public meeting on the draft permit must be submitted in writing to the Division of Livestock Environmental Permitting (DLEP) by 5 p.m. on August 22, 2025. Comments can be mailed to the Ohio Department of Agriculture at their Reynoldsburg address or emailed to lepp@agri.ohio.gov. Late submissions will not be considered.

A public meeting will be held if required by OAC 901:10-6-04(C) and may occur under authorization from OAC 901:10-6-01(D). Individuals have the right to provide written or oral statements during such meetings if scheduled.

The Division maintains an "interested parties" list for each county and statewide notifications of all draft permits. To join these lists, individuals can contact lepp@agri.ohio.gov or call 614-387-0470.
