The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is organizing an open house to inform the public about upcoming projects in Ottawa County this fall. The event will take place on Wednesday, August 27, at the Liberty Aviation Museum, located at the Ottawa County airport. The session will be held in conference room No. 1 at 3515 E. State Road, Port Clinton, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

ODOT officials will be present throughout the open house to discuss several projects planned for the region. These include the construction of a roundabout at State Route 269 and S. Danbury Road, a shore revetment project on State Route 163 in Port Clinton, and a traffic signal upgrade on State Route 269 at State Route 163 that will incorporate flashing yellow left-turn arrows.

Additionally, representatives from Erie County's District 3 will be available to talk about the ongoing resurfacing project on State Route 2 beyond the county line.

There will be no formal presentation during the event; attendees are welcome to visit any time within the scheduled hours.
