The Bowling Green State University (BGSU) Men's Golf team has received Presidents Special Recognition from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) for the 2024-25 season. The award, presented by Platform Golf, is given to teams that achieve an overall team GPA of 3.5 or higher.

BGSU is among 75 NCAA Division I programs to receive this distinction and one of 292 teams across all six divisions of collegiate golf recognized with a Team Academic Award.

"July has been a proud month for the Falcons for many years." Stated Head Coach John Powers, "This award, combined with our All-America Scholars, is a testament to the diligent work our students put in on and off the course."

The announcement follows recent individual honors for BGSU golfers Darin Hudak and Evan Johnson. Both were named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars after earning cumulative GPAs of at least 3.2 and maintaining stroke averages below 76.0 during their careers.
