Bowling Green State University will host its annual women's basketball Tipoff Dinner on Thursday, October 9. The event is open to the public and will be held at the Champions Court inside Schmidthorst Pavilion at the Stroh Center.
Dawn Staley, head coach of the South Carolina women's basketball team, is scheduled as the guest speaker. Staley has achieved recognition as a three-time Olympic gold medalist during her playing career and has won three national championships as a head coach.
Doors for the event will open at 7:00 p.m., with dinner beginning at 7:30 p.m. Individual tickets are priced at $150, while tables of eight can be purchased for $1,000. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
