Kelsey Bezdek of Leroy has completed the Ohio Farm Bureau’s AgriPOWER Class XV leadership program. The program, established in 2008, aims to help agricultural advocates develop skills to influence public policy affecting their businesses and communities.

AgriPOWER is considered an elite training initiative for individuals in agriculture who want to engage more effectively with policy issues. The program supports participants in learning about the legislative process and encourages them to become involved in decision-making that impacts the agricultural sector.

The Ohio Farm Bureau created this program to address a need for strong advocacy within the industry. Since its inception, AgriPOWER has produced several graduates who have gone on to take active roles in shaping agricultural policies at various levels.
