From early November until December 8, the City of Upper Arlington’s Public Service team is collecting pumpkins for composting at Fancyburg Park. Special containers have been set up as part of the annual pumpkin composting program. Residents are asked to remove all non-organic decorations, candles, or other materials from their pumpkins before dropping them off.

The city has specified that pumpkins should not be placed in food waste drop-off bins located at Sunny 95 Park, the Municipal Services Center, and Fancyburg Park. They also should not go into curbside food waste collection containers.

For more information about recycling options and related resources, residents can visit the Trash and Recycling webpage on the city’s website.
