A Youngstown man has been sentenced to 23 years in federal prison for his involvement in distributing fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine throughout the Youngstown area.
Rayshawn Hall, 24, received a 276-month sentence from U.S. District Judge Christopher A. Boyko after pleading guilty in April to multiple drug-related charges. These included one count of distribution of fentanyl, three counts of distribution of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, attempted possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and attempted possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
Hall will also serve three years of supervised release following his prison term. The sentencing took place on September 3, 2025.
According to court documents, between August 11 and October 17, 2023, investigators carried out several controlled drug purchases from Hall involving fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine. Law enforcement later executed a search warrant at Hall’s residence where they seized over $56,000 in cash and items related to illegal drug activity.
Agents also found a box bearing a FedEx shipping label from Spring Valley, California inside a black Chrysler vehicle at the property. Laboratory analysis determined the package contained approximately 21 pounds (9,810.8 grams) of high-purity methamphetamine (90.4%) and about two pounds (989.7 grams) of fentanyl. In total, authorities attributed at least 90,000 kilograms of converted drug weight to Hall’s activities.
The investigation was led by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations and the Mahoning County Law Enforcement Task Force.
