Senate Democrats Select Dale Martin to Fill Remainder of Williams Term

Daleprr

Today, the Ohio Senate Democratic Caucus announced that it will appoint Dale Martin to serve out the unexpired term of Senator Sandra Williams, who announced last week that she would resign effective June 8. The term will end on December 31.

“I look forward to welcoming Dale Martin to the Senate Democratic Caucus,” said Minority Leader Kenny Yuko (D-Richmond Heights). “Dale Martin is a retired union electrician, a lifelong resident of the city of Cleveland and a longtime volunteer for the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party. I am confident he will represent Senate District 21 with honor and work to improve the lives of all his constituents.”

Dale Martin, a retired member of IBEW Local 673, will be seated tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. during a special session of the Ohio Senate.
