This week, RFK Jr's campaign announced that they have gathered enough signatures to secure a spot on the Ohio ballot. This development may be seen as positive news for Democrats leaning towards the far-left who are seeking an alternative to Joe Biden's administration. However, it should be noted that RFK Jr's policy positions remain firmly on the radical end of the spectrum.

RFK Jr has expressed his belief that full-term babies should be allowed to be aborted. He has also repeatedly called for a "ban" on "fossil fuel extraction," including fracking. Moreover, he has shown support for the socialist Green New Deal, praising it as "good," "important," and something "we ought to be pursuing."

Despite these positions, there is little difference between Joe Biden and RFK Jr, according to Ohio GOP Spokesman Dan Lusheck. He stated, “While there is little daylight between Joe Biden and RFK Jr, Republicans are clearly united behind President Donald J. Trump. Ohioans understand that his status as an 'independent' is nothing more than a mockery of voters’ intelligence.”

In conclusion, while some Democrats may view RFK Jr as a viable alternative candidate, his far-left agenda could make him a non-starter for Ohio.
