COLUMBUS—As Bernie Sanders visits Ohio today, it serves as a reminder of his longstanding relationship with Sherrod Brown. Both Sanders and Brown joined the U.S. Senate in 2007 after serving together in the House for 14 years. Their socialist policies have been influential within the far-left wing of their party for decades.

A Vox reporter in 2015 described Brown as Sanders’ “closest Senate ally,” noting that they agree on “almost literally everything.” During the 2020 primary, Sherrod Brown stated that he and Bernie Sanders were both “full throated” supporters of Joe Biden.

In contrast, Bernie Moreno and Donald Trump present an alternative vision for America. According to supporters, President Trump prioritized the working people of Ohio during his tenure. Moreno advocates for public policy priorities centered around American workers and families.

“Bottom Line: Bernie Moreno and Donald Trump are going to put America First and make our country great again. Bernie Sanders and Sherrod Brown are far-left socialists who have failed the American worker.”
