Last month, the OBRT Government Relations Council held a lunch meeting to welcome Governor DeWine's newest cabinet members. The new members include Chancellor Mike Duffey of the Ohio Department of Higher Education, Director Kara Wente of the Ohio Department of Children and Youth, Director Steve Dackin of the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, and Director LeeAnne Cornyn of the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.

The discussion at the meeting covered various topics such as internship and career tech programming, as well as public-private partnerships for child care and mental health workforce initiatives. OBRT member companies expressed their commitment to partnering with the Governor’s Administration on these agency priorities. They aim to serve as resources for both information and innovation in collaboration with state agencies.
