A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was sent to Allen County on October 7, 2024. The request, submitted by the Buckeye Reporter, a media organization dedicated to comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, sought specific records under the Ohio Open Records Law.
The Buckeye Reporter requested a list of FOIA logs sent to Allen County from January 1, 2024, until October 7, 2024. The fields specified in the request included the requester's name and organization, content of the request, date of the request and its completion date, as well as the status of the FOIA.
