A Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request was sent to Delaware County on October 7, 2024. The request was made by the Buckeye Reporter, a media organization committed to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs.
The request asked for access to public records under the Ohio Open Records Law, §149.43 et seq., specifically for a list of FOIA logs that were sent to the county from January 1, 2024, until October 7, 2024. The requested information includes fields such as the requester's name and organization, content of the request, date of the request and completion date, as well as the status of the FOIA.
